UAlbany Announces New Athletic Director

UAlbany announced the hiring of its newest athletic director on Wednesday morning at Bob Ford Field.

Taking over the reigns from Lee McElroy is Mark Benson. Benson previously worked at Old Dominion University as the Senior Associate Athletic Director.

UAlbany won eight conference titles this past academic year and had five coaches named America East Coach of the Year.

UAlbany advanced to the NCAA tournament in sports like men and women's basketball, men's lacrosse and softball.
