UAlbany Men’s And Women’s Basketball Schedules Released [UPDATE]

UPDATE!!! The schedule is already being adjusted.

The long-awaited schedules for the Men's and Women's University of Albany Great Danes are here. In a year where you really can't take anything for granted especially sports, it's fantastic to see when, where, and who the Great Danes will be playing on the hardwood.

Just last week UAlbany Men's coach Will Brown joined Levack and Goz to discuss the upcoming season and the new challenges it could provide. Now we get a closeup view of the schedule.

Coach Brown elaborated in a press release from UAlbany:

"We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to play this season as these are challenging times for so many," said head coach Will Brown. "We appreciate the America East Conference for making health and safety the top priority for all involved. The weekend games on back-to-back days at one site against the same team is unique and exciting. Our non-conference schedule has been a tremendous challenge to put together. We are looking forward to playing at Mohegan Sun and using our non-conference opportunities to get us ready for conference play."

Women's Coach Colleen Mullen gave her thoughts in the same press release from UAlbany:

"It should be another very exciting and competitive America East conference season," said head coach Colleen Mullen. "With the new format of back-to-back weekend games at one site, things like game preparation and recovery strategies will certainly look different this year. This format will help to protect our student-athletes' health and safety and provide us the best opportunity to have a competitive season. There may be unexpected changes that arise but we will focus on maintaining a positive outlook, staying vigilant in our health and safety precautions, and preparing our players the best we can every day."
