UAlbany’s Nick Griffin On Why Great Danes Are Different This Year [AUDIO]

The Great Danes are undefeated at home, breaking records on offense and doing work on defense. This season is a long way from over but there's a different energy when you see the UAlbany football team take the field this season. Just a week after Defensive Lineman Nick Griffin scored on a fumble recovery he joins Levack and Goz to explain why things are indeed different this season.

Griffin is a homegrown talent who graduated from Shaker high school and now is harassing quarterbacks all over the CAA with help of his roommate Eli Mencer. Head coach of the Great Danes Greg Gattuso has a great history both playing and coaching defensive lines. He played at Pen State and coached Rams' star Aaron Donald at Pitt. It was great to hear Griffin's thoughts on coach spending more time with the d line this year.
