Wes Welker Jersey Set On Fire [VIDEO]

A couple of New England Patriot fans aren’t taking Wes Welker’s departure to the Denver Broncos lightly.

Wes Welker signed a 2-year, $12 million deal with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday.  You know what comes next; disgruntled Patriot fans showcasing their disgruntled-ness. Ahh, you have to love fans that take the great game of football more seriously than life itself.  The old burning of the jersey ritual; I love it.  This pair of Patriot fans didn’t just burn a jersey and call it a day.  Oh no, they took it to a new level.

The first voice you hear in the video says, “This is what happens when you can’t catch in the playoffs.”  The comments then get ever more serious and over the top.  The second guy in the video says, “May the name of Wes Welker be stricken forever from Patriot lore.”  I laughed out loud when I heard this.  Man, you talk about taking this situation way too seriously.  At least these guys are entertaining though.  Great stuff.
