RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: The Yankees have high hopes for Catcher Austin Wells who they selected in the first-round in Wednesday night’s Major League Draft. Yankees drafted him in the 35th round of the 2018 draft out of high school. But Wells honored his commitment to University of Arizona, but now he’s back with the Yankees, and his agent is Scott Boras. Boras doesn’t represent just anyone. Austin is a lefty with a big bat, but he might not be a catcher. The Yankees are already talking about switching him to first base or leftfield. Bottom Line: Wells is a first round draft pick who could have impact in a just a few quick years
