RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: There is chance Albany is getting another Arena football team, which on paper is great. My only worry is money. The local ownership group which owned the Albany Empire had deep pockets and did it the right way from start to finish. Don’t know the owners of the Orlando Predators from the Northern Arena League, but in order for this to work in Albany, you need a high financial commitment level. If not, you end with the Albany Conquest AF2 team, which failed miserable in Albany. I am all for it, as long as it’s done the right way from the top on down.
