The New York Yankees are a bad baseball team and have been for most of the regular season so far.  Now on this Tuesday morning they are four games below .500 and have lost eight straight games for the first time since 1995.  This team is so hard to watch and now the Yankees are getting desperate and calling up two of their top prospects ahead of their series this week with the Washington Nationals.  Below is my quick take on this from the Times Union:

The time has come for New York Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner to make wholesale changes after his team and franchise hit rock bottom. The Yankees will suffer their first losing season in over 30 years and what he should do is fire both GM Brian Cashman and Manager Aaron Boone and start fresh. The American League East is going to be very good for years to come especially the Baltimore Orioles and the Yankees are set up be very mediocre. It's time for a change and Hal knows it. It's not easy to fire your boys but after this season is over it must be done.
