Remembering Matt Gras with Coach Mike Deane

Some sad news happened recently with the passing of former Siena great Matt Gras who was part of the 1995 class. Gras was only 46 years of age and had suffered long term from Cerebellar ataxia which is a neurological disorder. The entire Siena Men's basketball community is mourning. He was coached at Siena by Mike Deane and Coach Deane had a lot of great things to say about Matt. It was very fitting to hear Coach talk about the stories he remembered most about Matt as well as talking about the success he had post-Siena basketball. The Siena Saints twitter account remembered Gras fittingly with some highlights:
