RPI made the decision 2 weeks ago and Union really evaluated everything hoping they could play these sports but they made the right decsion at the end of the day. RODGER'S QUICK TAKE: Encouraging news for the New York Mets. Yoenis Cespedes feels good and will be ready to start the season on July 24th. A healthy Cespedes makes the Mets instant contenders in the NL East, and if he can run and play the outfielder, that’s a game changer. Even if Cespedes just serves as a DH, the Mets are a lot better offensively. Mets lacked run production last season, but that’s about to change with Cespedes back in the lineup for the first time in two years.
