Miami Heat center Dexter Pittman lands a vicious elbow to the throat of Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson.

The Miami Heat got even with Lance Stephenson in Game 5 on Tuesday night.  Dexter Pittman landed a vicious elbow to the throat of Stephenson.  The Indiana Pacers guard made a choking gesture when LeBron James missed a technical free throw in Game 3 of the Pacers-Heat series.  Miami didn't forget about the gesture.  Pittman whacked Stephenson when he was getting in position for a rebound.  It was a completely dirty play.

Amazingly, Pittman wasn't hit with a flagrant 2 foul which would have been an automatic ejection from the game.  Really, officials?  Really.  This foul couldn't have been more blatant or premeditated.  Pittman should have been ejected immediately, especially when you consider the game being a complete blowout.  Miami ended up beating Indiana 115-83.  If there was ever a situation where the officials should have erred on the side of being too harsh, this was it.  Pittman will definitely be suspended for multiple games, but he should have been ejected immediately as well.
