Glens Falls, New York native and Brigham Young University basketball standout Jimmer Fredette can add author to his list of accomplishments.

The second year NBA player with the Sacramento Kings, who was voted National Player of the Year in his final college season at BYU, has co-written a new book with his brother T.J. titled "The Contract."

The book details a pledge Jimmer made with his brother, a pact if you will, that he would make it to the NBA, and make it he has.

Jimmer was the seventh pick in last year's NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. He didn't play in every game, but had a decent rookie campaign averaging 7.5 points per game.

This upcoming season will be Fredette's first full year in the association as there is labor peace and no lockout. If you want to hear more about his rookie campaign and his brand new book, Fredette will join me on "Game On with Bruce Jacobs" at 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon on 104.5 "The Team" ESPN Radio.
