Say goodbye to that one game losing skid. Will Brown's Albany Great Danes shrugged off a loss Saturday at Vermont by thumping Binghamton Monday night 71-59.

The first half was somewhat lethargic but UAlbany left the court up 32-21 primarily due to the play of Sam Rowley. The Australian notched his first career double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Also, a solid half came from Luke Devlin who notched seven of his 12 points in the first half.

Rowley, the sophomore also dished four helpers in helping UAlbany win their 10th game in 11 outings. Rowley and Devlin made up for the lack of scoring from the normal high scoring duo of Mike Black and Jacob Iati who had eight and three points, respectively.

With the victory the Great Danes won their 13th game overall. Their 2-1 conference record leaves them half game shy of Hartford and Maine. Speaking of Maine, that will be the next game up this coming Sunday. The Black Bears are 2-0 in league play but only 7-8 overall.
