The New York Jets put up a pathetic performance on Monday night in a 27-6 loss vs the Los Angeles Chargers at MetLife Stadium.  Zach Wilson looked awful yet again but the defense did the best they could.  Wilson continues to make poor decisions when under center although he has basically no time to throw the ball away because the offensive line is so putrid.  The Jets continue to frustrate their fans and analysts as they are wasting a great defense with a pathetic offense and it's what Woody Johnson, Joe Douglas, Robert Saleh and company get for not having a quality backup.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in the Times Union:
The New York Jets offense was terrible on Monday night, and I don't see how they make the playoffs with Zach Wilson at quarterback. He was awful against the Los Angeles Chargers missing wide open receivers, taking bad sacks, and looking lost. This team is same as last year where the defense dominates, and the offense can't get out of their own way. The NFL is a week-to-week league, but what I saw out of the Jets offense was simple unacceptable.

Next up for the Jets are the Raiders on Sunday Night Football.  Yet another primetime game which honestly is ridiculous.  I get that it was all based on Aaron Rodgers being healthy but the NFL should really flex out some of these games.  I highly doubt Aaron Rodgers will be back this season after tearing his Achilles in week one.  The Jets need to play better on offense plain and simple because their defense is good enough to keep them in games.
